The endoscopic forehead lift is a recent advancement in cosmetic surgery. There is minimal scarring, usually a few small incisions that can be hidden in the hair, and a faster, more comfortable recovery.

Endoscopic forehead lift This procedure is used to lift sagging eyebrows and sever the muscles that cause deep wrinkling of the forehead. The use of the newly developed technique of endoscopic forehead lift has brought great results by significantly decreasing the amount of scarring. Instead of the old technique that used a long incision, the endoscopic technique uses puncture type incisions placed behind the hairline. The procedure is done through the small incisions by a small endoscope. Endoscopic forehead lifts are usually performed under a general anesthetic.

Recovery The vast majority of persons undergoing this procedure have only minimal swelling and bruising. Mild swelling may persist in the area around the eyes for three to five days. Your skin may feel tingly or itchy, but this will disappear within a few weeks. Normal activity may be resumed in about a week while rigorous activity should wait for about two weeks. All visible signs of the procedure should fade within two to three weeks.
